We are all responsible for preserving our climate. Yet to truly understand how we make a difference we must consider and acknowledge our roles and responsibilities to save others from the catastrophic effects of climate change.
But what can we, as corporate leaders, do today to take action?
Philosopher Elizabeth Cripps explores this question and more in her latest book, What Climate Justice Means And Why We Should Care, in which she approaches climate justice not just as an abstract idea but as something that should motivate us all. Using clear reasoning and poignant examples, starting from irrefutable science and uncontroversial moral rules, she explores our obligations to each other and to the non-human world, unravels the legacy of colonialism and entrenched racism, and makes the case for immediate action.
On April 27th, we will host a special event and hear directly from Elizabeth Cripps, who will help us unpack the issues and explore what we can do to take immediate action.
